NOTES:
Centrally located at the nexus of Interstates 40 and 25, and Route 66. Only minutes from University of New Mexico. Unobstructed view of the Sandia Mountain range. Tight spaces, however convenience of access to literally everything overrides this. Local neighborhood is walkable during daylight, however after dark, use caution. Campground itself is extremely safe, no worries.

exit 20, go south on Highway 602 for about 31 miles. Turn east (left) onto Highway 53, and proceed 25 miles

NOTES:
Basic campground with no services at campground. Very clean pit toilets, no electricity. Land pay telephone at Visitor's Center. Very quiet at night, spaces are large, no problem positioning truck camper. Simply drive in before 8 PM, and set up on an unoccupied site. Register at Visitor's Center 1st thing in the morning.
